APSCA Membership Number
Unique identification number that is assigned to every auditor who has fully enrolled with APSCA via a Member Audit Firm. The number is specific to the individual auditor and will never be re-assigned to another person. The Auditor’s Membership Number is unique to the auditor and may only be used when conducting an audit on behalf of an APSCA Member Firm. This Membership Number remains with the auditor throughout one’s career. For additional guidance, see our Use of APSCA Member Number – Guide.
Associate Social Compliance
Auditor (ASCA)
Associate Social Compliance Auditor, is enrolled with APSCA, gaining experience under the supervision/ guidance of a RA or CSCA. Has signed APSCA’s Code of Professional Conduct.
Registered Auditor
(RA)
Experienced social compliance auditor who is currently going through the CSCA examination process, with a minimum of 1 year experience and 100+ social compliance audit days, or a minimum of 2 years’ experience and 50+ social compliance audit days and 100 other type of audit days which include management system, health and safety, labor inspections, investigations, audit components. Has signed APSCA’s Code of Professional Conduct.
Certified Social Compliance
Auditor (CSCA)
Experienced social compliance auditor who has passed all three Parts of APSCA’s CSCA examination. A CSCA also has a minimum of 1 year experience and 100+ social compliance audit days, or a minimum of 2 years’ experience and 50+ social compliance audit days and 100 other type of audit days which include management system, health and safety, labor inspections, investigations, audit components. Has signed APSCA’s Code of Professional Conduct.
In Good Standing
An APSCA Member who has signed all required documentation, paid all member fees, completes required Continual Professional Development (CPD).
Not In Good Standing
An APSCA Member who has been sanctioned due to an ethical issue.
Inactive
An APSCA Member who has NOT:
Any one (1) of these issues will see a Member moved to “Inactive” status.
APSCA’s Certification Program of CSCA auditors is managed and issued by APSCA. Certification is only available to enrolled and eligible Member Auditors of APSCA (see Auditor Verification page)
An auditor’s Certified Social Compliance Auditor (CSCA) status is a significant achievement for a Member Auditor that not all auditors obtain.
